Thanks so much for your hospitality. Your B&B is so beautiful and we enjoyed our stay so much and thank you for your "added" breakfast, we truly appreciated it and we will be back.
We were traveling to Wooster, OH, in April 2018 to visit The College of Wooster. The house itself is historic and a great experience, but the hosts and owners are exceptionally welcoming and helpful and this was also the case with the other guests that we met during our stay. The breakfast spread was amazing and I cannot imagine anyone ever leaving breakfast hungry. They also took into consideration that our daughter is vegetarian and ensured that she had some great options for breakfast. It is a nice little town with a number of very good dinner options and the owners are knowledgeable and happy to help make recommendations.
Jane Doyon Hillyard Fantastic stay! First B&B and what a wonderful experience. Go for dinner at Basil - walking distance. And play with Mabel. Thanks B and G - you are good people.
The Gasche House B&B Hi Jane, It was great having you guys as guests! Mabel still tells her friends about your visit! Take Good Care!
Dear Genevieve and Bill, Ramsay and I loved your charming home & town!Wooster is great and we will be sure to let you know if it becomes Ramsays "go to" college!
Gary BagpipeHello Bill & Gen,Just wanted to take a second to say "Thank You" for a most enjoyable stay with you. Georgia's busy life doesn't allow for much down time and a weekend away was just what "the doctor ordered". Thank you so much for sharing your lovely home. We thoroughly enjoyed great conversation with you and look forward to coming again. Send us a pic of our niece as she grows. 🙂A little "home brewed piping", if you want to take a listen on the "media" page.Cheers,Gary & Georgia
I try to always stay at the Gasche House when I am visiting my daughter who's at the College of Wooster. Bill and Genevieve are simply wonderful! They insisted that I stay in their room even though a room wasn't available because my scheduling mix up! The Everetts also located a hotel for the rest of my stay. Would not let me go to another place! Breakfast with the other guests was very entertaining. A great way to meet new people. The Gasche House sets a high bar for other B & B's
We had a great time meeting Genevieve and Bill. They were very accommodating with our schedule and with our preferences for breakfast. Genevieve is an incredible cook! The house is a beautifully maintained historical structure and it was perfect to relax and get a great night's sleep. We will definitely stay at the Gasche House Bed and Breakfast the next time we stay in Wooster, OH.
My first B&B experience and I'll probably never go back... I normally do Hotel Tonight or Air BnB, but this was around the corner from an event I was going to attend and it very reasonably priced. Not, available via either of those platforms. I have stayed in village hostels outside of America and this is the only thing I can compare it to.I felt much more like a family friend than a guest or customer. The hosts were very flexible with my check-in time and really went out of their way to accommodate my needs. The house is 167 years old and in awesome condition. Plumbing and lighting is all in perfect working order. You get plenty of personal space and access to several common areas. Free wifi was pretty fast. There were complimentary beverages, snacks, cookies, chocolates (CHOCOLATES!), and breakfast made to order.Wooster is small, charming, yet pretty hip town. There are several good places to eat within walking distance and the locals are were happy to show me around. This was in winter, probably the dead season, but I really enjoyed my stay. When you include the amenities, the stay greatly exceeded expectations when it comes to value. Highly recommend staying here and I'd return in a heart-beat!
Traveling to Ohio for a family wedding, we stayed at the Gasche house in the two bedroom suite with two of our adult children. We enjoyed walking around the busy town before we met family for dinner. Mostly we enjoyed the wonderful house - lovingly cared for in every way - and especially our terrific hosts. The rooms were comfortable, with every detail considered to make this wandering family feel welcomed and comfortable. Breakfast was delicious, but again, it is the house itself and Genevieve & Bill that made it hard to have to leave after only one night. But we had to join family in another town!
